Internationale
Workers' revolutionary song
The Internationale is a revolutionary socialist anthem written in the nineteenth century that became the official song of various communist and socialist movements worldwide.
It calls for workers to unite against oppression and has been translated into nearly every major language.
The song served as the national anthem of the Soviet Union until 1944 and remains associated with leftist political movements, labor unions, and protests.
The crowd sang the Internationale at the end of the rally.
