Hollow Earth
Planet's empty core
Hollow Earth is the discredited belief that Earth's interior contains vast cavities or is entirely hollow, sometimes imagined to harbor lost civilizations, hidden entrances at the poles, or inner suns.
The idea flourished in 19th-century pseudoscience and persists in conspiracy theories and science fiction: The novel featured an expedition to the Hollow Earth.
