Flat Earth
Plane planet theory
Flat Earth is the belief that the Earth is a flat plane rather than a sphere—a view contradicted by centuries of scientific evidence.
The term usually refers to the modern conspiracy theory that governments and scientists conceal Earth's true shape: He went down a Flat Earth rabbit hole on YouTube.
A flat-earther holds this belief.
The phrase sometimes describes any position that denies established facts: Climate denial is the new flat Earth.
