Han Solo is a fictional character from the Star Wars franchise—a roguish smuggler who becomes a hero of the Rebel Alliance.

The name has become shorthand for a charming, self-interested loner who reluctantly does the right thing: He thinks he's some kind of Han Solo, but he's just unreliable.
