Qui-Gon Jinn

Qui-Gon Jinn is a Jedi Master in the Star Wars universe, appearing primarily in *The Phantom Menace* (1999).

He discovers the young Anakin Skywalker and believes him to be the prophesied Chosen One.

Known for his independence and willingness to defy the Jedi Council, Qui-Gon represents a more intuitive, maverick approach to the Force: He's got that Qui-Gon Jinn energy—does what he thinks is right regardless of what the elders say.
