One-to-many video
An HDMI splitter is a device that takes a single HDMI signal and distributes it to multiple displays simultaneously.
One Blu-ray player can feed several televisions showing the same content: We used an HDMI splitter to put the game on screens in both rooms.
Not to be confused with an HDMI switch, which does the opposite—selecting one of several input sources to send to a single display.
