RCA cable
Red-white-yellow connector
An RCA cable is an audio/video cable with distinctive cylindrical plugs, typically color-coded: red and white for stereo audio, yellow for composite video.
Named after the Radio Corporation of America, which introduced the connector in the 1940s.
RCA cables were standard for connecting home electronics—TVs, VCRs, game consoles—before being largely displaced by HDMI: I need an RCA cable to hook up this old DVD player.
