God-fearers

Devout, respectful worshippers

God-fearers were Gentiles in the ancient world who worshipped the Jewish God and followed some Jewish practices without fully converting to Judaism.

They attended synagogues and observed moral laws but typically didn't undergo circumcision or follow all dietary restrictions.

The term appears in the New Testament, where early Christian missionaries found receptive audiences among them: Many of the God-fearers believed.
