German artist
Creator from Deutschland
A German artist is a person from Germany who creates art—painting, sculpture, music, or other creative work.
The phrase is descriptive rather than idiomatic, combining nationality with profession: The gallery features works by German artists.
Notable German artists include Albrecht Dürer, Caspar David Friedrich, and Joseph Beuys.
