Flatiron Building
Wedge-shaped Manhattan landmark
The Flatiron Building is a triangular skyscraper in Manhattan, completed in 1902.
Its distinctive wedge shape, fitting the acute angle where Broadway crosses Fifth Avenue, made it an early icon of New York City.
The building gave its name to the surrounding Flatiron District.
