Dave Matthews Band
"Crash" performing ensemble
Dave Matthews Band is an American rock group formed in 1991, known for extended jam sessions blending rock, jazz, and world music influences.
The band built a devoted following through relentless touring and live recordings.
Often abbreviated DMB: I saw DMB three times last summer.
The name sometimes stands in for a certain kind of earnest, jam-band-loving college sensibility.
