Cuba Libre
Citrusy rum highball
A Cuba Libre is a cocktail of rum, cola, and lime juice, served over ice.
The name is Spanish for "free Cuba," reportedly coined during the Spanish-American War when American soldiers mixed Coca-Cola with Cuban rum.
The drink is essentially a rum and Coke with lime: I'll have a Cuba Libre.
