Christmas crackers

Festive table tubes

Christmas crackers are festive paper tubes that pop when pulled apart, traditionally used at British Christmas dinners.

Two people grip the ends and pull; the cracker splits with a small bang, releasing a paper crown, a tiny gift, and a slip of paper with a joke or riddle.

We pulled crackers before the meal and everyone wore their paper hats.
