Capella
Auriga's alpha point
Capella is the brightest star in the constellation Auriga and the sixth brightest star in the night sky.
The name comes from Latin for "little she-goat," reflecting ancient associations with the goat Amalthea from Greek mythology.
Technically a system of four stars, Capella appears as a single yellowish point visible year-round in northern latitudes.
