Canucks
Folks from Canada
Canucks is an informal term for Canadians.
The word appears most prominently as the name of Vancouver's NHL hockey team, the Vancouver Canucks.
Outside hockey contexts, Canucks is casual and sometimes mildly pejorative when used by non-Canadians: A bunch of Canucks crossed the border for cheaper gas.
Canadians themselves often use it with affectionate self-deprecation.
