CC&Rs

Neighborhood governing documents

CC&Rs stands for covenants, conditions, and restrictions—the rules governing property in a planned community or homeowners association.

These documents specify what owners can and cannot do with their property: paint colors, fence heights, landscaping requirements, whether you can park an RV in your driveway.

The CC&Rs prohibit short-term rentals.

Buyers receive CC&Rs before purchase, and the rules run with the land, binding all future owners.
