Bonnie Parker
Bonnie Parker was an American outlaw who, with Clyde Barrow, led a gang responsible for robberies and murders across the central United States during the Great Depression.
The pair became folk antiheroes, their notoriety amplified by photos showing Parker posing with guns and cigars.
They were killed in a police ambush in 1934.
Bonnie and Clyde now evokes any romantic criminal duo or reckless partnership.
