Asda
Walmart-owned UK chain
Asda is a British supermarket chain, one of the largest retailers in the United Kingdom.
Originally an acronym for Associated Dairies, the name is now used only as a proper noun: We do our weekly shop at Asda.
The chain is known for its low-price positioning and is comparable to Walmart, which owned it from 1999 to 2021.
