Aragog
Aragog is a giant spider in the Harry Potter series—an Acromantula who lived in the Forbidden Forest and was raised by Hagrid from an egg.
The name combines "arachnid" with a suitably monstrous ending.
Aragog's funeral was one of the most memorable scenes in the sixth book.
