Anthony Quinn

Anthony Quinn (1915–2001) was a Mexican-American actor known for his earthy, larger-than-life performances in Hollywood films spanning five decades.

He won Academy Awards for *Viva Zapata!* and *Lust for Life*, and is perhaps best remembered for his title role in *Zorba the Greek*, which became so iconic that the exuberant dance from the film is often called "the Zorba." Quinn's commanding physical presence and ability to portray characters of various ethnicities made him one of cinema's most versatile leading men.
