Abrahamic faiths
Judaism, Christianity, Islam
Abrahamic faiths are religions tracing their origins to the patriarch Abraham: Judaism, Christianity, and Islam.
All three are monotheistic, share overlapping scriptures and prophets, and emerged from the ancient Near East.
The term groups them for comparison or to emphasize common ground: Leaders of the Abrahamic faiths called for peace in the region.
