4G LTE
Wireless data standard
4G LTE is a mobile network technology standard that provides high-speed wireless data transmission for smartphones and other devices.
The "4G" indicates fourth-generation cellular technology, while "LTE" stands for Long Term Evolution, a technical specification that delivers faster speeds than earlier 3G networks.

Though marketed as 4G, LTE was technically a transitional standard between true 3G and 4G speeds, but the distinction has become largely academic as LTE networks improved.
