Below the eye
The zygoma is the cheekbone—the prominent bone forming the ridge below and to the side of the eye.
In anatomy, it refers specifically to the zygomatic bone or the zygomatic arch, the bony bridge connecting the cheekbone to the temporal bone near the ear.
The boxer suffered a fractured zygoma.
