wooden base
Lumber support structure
A wooden base is a flat piece of wood serving as a foundation or support for something placed on top of it.
Trophies, lamps, sculptures, and display items commonly sit on wooden bases.
The term is descriptive rather than technical—any supportive platform made of wood qualifies: The figurine was mounted on a simple wooden base.
