wolfberries
Dried Asian berries
Wolfberries are the bright red-orange berries of a shrub native to China, commonly dried and used in traditional Chinese medicine and cooking.
They're also called goji berries, the name more familiar in Western health food marketing: She added wolfberries to her morning smoothie.
The berries have a mildly sweet, slightly tart flavor.
