wish-fulfilling

Makes desires real

Wish-fulfilling describes something that grants or satisfies desires.

The term appears most often in Buddhist and Hindu contexts—the wish-fulfilling jewel, the wish-fulfilling tree—mythical objects that provide whatever one needs.

Outside religious usage, it describes fantasies or narratives where desires come true without realistic obstacles: a wish-fulfilling daydream.
