wheat pasting
Street art adhesion
Wheat pasting is a method of affixing paper to surfaces using a paste made from wheat flour and water.
The technique is favored by street artists and activists for posting flyers, posters, and murals on walls, fences, and other public surfaces because it's cheap, effective, and the adhesive is easy to make.
The band promoted their shows by wheat pasting posters around the neighborhood.
Also called wheatpasting or paste-up.
