web press
Continuous roll printer
A web press is a printing press that prints on continuous rolls of paper rather than individual sheets.
The paper feeds through the press in a long web, then gets cut into pages afterward.
Web presses are used for high-volume jobs like newspapers, magazines, and catalogs, where speed matters more than precision.
The newspaper runs on a web press that can print 70,000 copies per hour.
