war-monger

Advocate for conflict

A warmonger is someone who advocates for or tries to provoke war, especially for personal or political gain.

The term is accusatory—you call opponents warmongers, never yourself: The senator dismissed critics as warmongers eager to send other people's children into battle.

Also spelled as one word: warmonger.
