vsync
Screen tear prevention
Vsync (vertical sync) is a display setting that synchronizes a game's frame rate with a monitor's refresh rate.
Without it, the graphics card may send frames faster than the monitor can display them, causing screen tearing—visible horizontal lines where mismatched frames meet.
Vsync eliminates tearing but can introduce input lag or stuttering if frames aren't delivered on time: Turn off vsync if you're getting lag.
