unthreshed
Grain not separated
Unthreshed describes grain that hasn't been separated from its stalks and husks.
Threshing removes the edible kernels from the plant material—wheat, rice, or barley left unthreshed remains in its harvested but unprocessed state: The unthreshed wheat sat in the barn awaiting the threshing crew.
