unstressed

Lacking vocal prominence

Unstressed describes something not subjected to stress.

An unstressed syllable receives less emphasis when spoken: in "banana," the first and last syllables are unstressed while the middle syllable carries the stress.

The word also applies to people or situations free from pressure or anxiety: She seemed remarkably unstressed despite the deadline.
