union activist
Collective bargaining champion
A union activist is someone who actively works to organize, strengthen, or advocate for labor unions and workers' rights.
The term implies more than passive membership—union activists recruit members, mobilize for strikes, negotiate with management, or campaign for labor-friendly policies: Union activists picketed outside the factory for three weeks.
