unimodal
Having one peak
Unimodal describes something having a single mode or peak.
In statistics, a unimodal distribution has one highest point—most values cluster around a single central tendency: The test scores were unimodal, centered around 75.
The term contrasts with bimodal (two peaks) or multimodal (several peaks).
Outside statistics, unimodal can describe systems using only one mode of input or transportation.
