Beyond any bat
Unhittable describes a pitcher or pitch that batters cannot hit—so dominant or deceptive that getting bat on ball seems impossible: He was unhittable through six innings.
The term extends to anything that can't be struck or reached: an unhittable target, an unhittable shot in tennis.
Like many sports superlatives, it's usually hyperbole rather than literal fact.
