unedit
Revert to original
To unedit is to reverse an edit, restoring something to its previous state before changes were made.
The word appears in software contexts where undo functions allow users to unedit their work: I accidentally deleted a paragraph but was able to unedit it.
It can also mean to remove editorial changes from a text, returning it to its raw or original form.
