Impossible to break
Uncrackable describes something that cannot be broken into, solved, or decoded.
A safe might be advertised as uncrackable, meaning no thief could open it; an encryption system is uncrackable if no one can decipher it without the key.
The term applies equally to physical security an uncrackable vault and to puzzles or codes an uncrackable cipher.
Like many words with the prefix un-, it often invites challenge—claiming something is uncrackable practically dares someone to prove otherwise.
