uncapsized
Boat stayed upright
Uncapsized describes a boat or vessel that has not overturned in the water—still upright, hull down.
The word appears almost exclusively in contexts where capsizing was a real possibility: The boat emerged from the storm uncapsized but badly damaged.
It emphasizes survival of a threat rather than simply being right-side up.
