unacclimatized
Still getting used
Unacclimatized means not yet adjusted to new conditions, especially climate or altitude.
Travelers arriving at high elevations are unacclimatized to the thin air and may experience headaches or fatigue: Unacclimatized hikers should spend a day at base camp before attempting the summit.
The word applies broadly to any environmental or situational adjustment still incomplete.
