Directional light signal
A turn indicator is the signal on a vehicle that flashes to show which direction the driver intends to turn or change lanes.
Americans usually call it a turn signal or blinker; turn indicator is more common in British English.
The same device used for hazard warning is sometimes called a turn indicator when serving its directional purpose.
