trust corpus
Managed wealth holding
Trust corpus is the principal assets held in a trust—the property, money, or investments that generate income or appreciation for beneficiaries.
Distinguished from trust income, the corpus is the underlying body of wealth that remains intact while earnings are distributed: The trust corpus consisted of real estate and blue-chip stocks.
Also called trust principal or trust res.
