training modules
Instructional content segments
Training modules are self-contained units of instructional content, typically part of a larger educational program or course.
Each module focuses on a specific topic or skill and can often be completed independently: New employees must complete all six training modules before starting work.
The term is common in corporate, military, and online learning contexts, where curricula are broken into manageable segments that can be updated or rearranged without overhauling the entire program.
