towball
Spherical towing attachment
A towball is the spherical metal hitch mounted on the rear of a vehicle for attaching a trailer or caravan.
The ball fits into a socket on the trailer coupling, allowing articulated movement while towing.
Also spelled as two words: tow ball.
Make sure the towball is properly greased before hooking up the boat trailer.
