touring productions
Performances on road
Touring productions are theatrical shows, concerts, or other performances that travel from venue to venue rather than running in a single location.
A Broadway musical might spawn a touring production that visits cities across the country: The touring production of Hamilton is coming to Denver next month.
These productions typically replicate the original staging while adapting to different theaters and audiences.
