Broadway productions
New York shows
Broadway productions are theatrical shows—musicals, plays, and revivals—staged in the large professional theaters of New York City's Broadway district.
The term implies high production values, union contracts, and commercial ambition: She's hoping to land a role in a Broadway production.
Shows that succeed often tour nationally or spawn international versions.
