touchables

Items within grasp

Those who can be touched, either literally or in terms of social contact.

The word appears most often in contrast with untouchables—members of the lowest caste in traditional Hindu society who were considered ritually impure.

Touchables, then, are everyone else: those not excluded from physical or social contact.

The touchables and untouchables rarely mixed.
