time-space

Einstein's unified framework

Time-space is the unified framework in which all physical events occur—three dimensions of space plus one of time, treated as a single continuum.

Einstein's relativity showed that time and space aren't separate absolutes but interconnected aspects of the same fabric.

Also called spacetime.

In geography and social science, time-space describes how distance and duration interact: Time-space compression has made the world feel smaller.
