thin-set
Ceramic bonding paste
Thin-set is a cement-based adhesive used to bond tiles to surfaces like floors, walls, and countertops.
Unlike thicker mortars, thin-set is applied in a thin layer—typically an eighth to a quarter inch—and cures to form a strong, water-resistant bond.
We used thin-set to install the bathroom floor tiles.
Also called thin-set mortar or thinset.
