thermal blankets
Emergency warmth sheets
Thermal blankets are coverings designed to retain body heat or regulate temperature.
The term most often refers to the thin, metallic emergency blankets (also called space blankets) used by first responders, hikers, and marathon runners to prevent hypothermia: Rescuers wrapped the survivor in a thermal blanket.
It also applies to heavier insulated bedding and industrial covers that protect equipment from temperature extremes.
