the Master
One in charge
The Master is a title for someone with supreme authority or skill in a domain.
In religious contexts, it often refers to Jesus Christ or a spiritual teacher: The Master taught in parables.
In fiction, particularly Doctor Who, the Master is the Doctor's arch-nemesis—a renegade Time Lord.
The definite article elevates any master to singular, preeminent status: He studied under the Master himself.
